OUR STUDIES

Psoriasis

Psoriasis is a chronic autoimmune skin condition affecting about 8 million Americans. It is characterized by the rapid buildup of skin cells, resulting in thick, red patches with silvery scales.

Atopic Dermatitis (Eczema)

Atopic Dermatitis, commonly known as eczema, is an inflammatory skin condition that causes dry skin, itching, and inflamed skin. Atopic Dermatitis affects more than 9.6 million children and 16.5 million adults.

Alopecia Areata (hair loss)

Alopecia Areata is an autoimmune condition that causes hair loss  on the scalp, face or other parts of the body. Alopecia Areata leaves isolated bald spots and in some cases can progress to total baldness on the scalp.

Hidradenitis Suppurativa

HS is a chronic inflammatory skin condition that affects hair follicles and sweat glands. It is characterized by painful nodules, abscesses, sinus tracts (tunnel-like connections between abscesses, and scarring.

Prurigo Nodularis

Prurigo Nodularis is characterized by itchy nodules (bumps) that usually occur on the arms, legs and trunk.  Prurigo nodularis can stem from various conditions such as eczema, insect bites or other dermatologic conditions.

Vitiligo

Vitiligo is characterized by the loss of pigmentation in patches of skin or hair. Vitiligo causes white or lighter patches of skin which can appear anywhere on the body, but are most common to areas exposed to the sun.

CLINICAL STUDIES & YOU

Why Clinical Research Trials Are Necessary
